Don't ever buy a house with japanese knotweed in the backyard - the plant is IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL!

See the big bush directly above Zazu in this picture below? That is japanese knotweed (the devil)

 The plant is a variety of bamboo (warning sign #1)

 Dumpsters do NOT ALLOW it to be disposed of since it is impossible to kill (warning sign #2)

 When you burn it, it does NOT DIE (warning sign #3)

When you pull it out of the ground, if even the smallest piece is left, it regrows (warning sign #4)

 So we decided that the ONLY way we were going to kill this plant was to cover it with three layers of think black plastic

 The plastic was down for SIX YEARS before the plant died
No, we are not kidding

 We were happy to look at the plastic ... knowing that we might have a fighting chance to beat the beast!
