The drywall is in and is taped, plastered and ready to go. Now we have to turn our attention to repairing the original plaster in the rest of the room….
January 2008 – Jen removes the 150 year old plaster from the closet to prepare it for drywall.
December 2007 – In comes the insulation into our wall!
September 2007 – Look at that great looking wall! You can see the bathtub we installed on the other side. Now we are ready to start insulating it.
July 2007 – Now onto the new closet…. This will be a nice new big closet in this room where the chimney used to be.
June 2007 – It is time for the 2nd Chimney in the house to come down. This was another floating chimney that had originally been used for a potbelly stove – and hadn’t been used is years! Down it comes!
May 2007 – Here we are building the new wall where the closet used to be. I am not going to lie, it was tricky at the beginning, but it got easier in no time!
January 2007 – ONE YEAR LATER, we finally got to this room and began our work. The closet is gone and now it is time to teach ourselves how to build a wall (How hard can it be, right? 
January 2006 – This is how this bedroom looked when we bought the house. Our plan was to remove the closet and the door to the bathroom, and build a new wall and a new closet for this bedroom.
