WILL be a beautiful patio off of the carriage house one day... no really, we are not kidding.
Once we busted out the chainsaw ... we were able to at least get into the patio.
What we found was yucky

OK - progress! Sometimes it is slow, but it is still progress.
Jeff's determination to take down that crappy shed is the only thing that got it down!
I think they used 5 million nails - it was built like a bomb shelter
People thought we were nuts.... but we knew we had something special with this patio next to the carriage house
Progress again.... at least there are no more trees growing in the center anymore
To keep the cool facade we had to do a lot of structural work - but in the end it was worth it
All new sills - but we still kept all the old original wood
Alright.... now we are talking
The facade is painted and looking awesome

The slate patio has been put in and the beds built
Now it is time to plant... FINALLY!!
Our beautiful patio is one of the most amazing places on the property... and all it took was vision, determination and a hell of a lot of work. No problem!
